Tour Milwaukee on a round, seven seat bicycle that everyone pedals and one person steers
For locals and tourists interested
in a fun, unique, new way to see our city
On each food tour we stop at five eateries to sample their signature dish. You’ll try such foods as empanadas, bruschetta, designer chocolate truffles, and custard. As we navigate the third ward our guides will provide fun facts about the fascinating history of the area.
Why walk when you can ride? On our tours you’ll travel with up to 11 other riders on round, seven seat bicycles that everyone pedals and our guides steer! Tours depart each weekend- click ‘choose dates and times’ to view the calendar. Other times available on request.
Cost is $55/ person.
All food and restaurant tips included. Tours last approximately 2 ½ hours.
Where did teams of men under the influence of high pay and strong liquor bring cartloads of bodies to be dumped in shallow graves day after day? Where were ‘incorrigible young girls’ sent to be prepared for ‘honest and useful lives?’ What human remains are buried under Lake Park? On this tour you’ll hear fascinating tales of the absurd, horrific, and the extraordinary.
Starting point is the corner of North and Prospect near the entrance to Whole Foods. Tours run approximately 1:45 minutes, departing Saturday nights and other times by request. Cost is $25/ person.
I booked this for my sisters bachelorette party and all of us ladies loved it! We got to see a lot of the city & try new restaurants in such a fun way! Our tour guide Jim knew lots of history about MKE and was an absolute perfect gentleman! I asked Shlomo if there was possibly a place for us ladies to change into our dresses for the night and he was so accommodating!! Jim made sure to pencil that into our itinerary and was also very accommodating about it!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! :)
I surprised my friend Terra with this tour and she jumped up and down once she saw the bikes! The guides were so friendly and enjoyable! We quickly made friends with our guide Jim, he was hilarious! ALL of the food was fabulous, and the service was great. Everything was ready when we got there. We went to 5 different places, 3 lunch/dinner places, and 2 dessert places, all of which were amazing! Thank you guys for everything! I hope to see our pictures up on the website soon, I have some great ones if you need more :)
This was such a fun experience! There were 5 of us (3 in their early 20's and parents) and everybody had a great time. The restaurants we went to were places we hadn't been before and the food was excellent. The bike was great and loved that we got some exercise. Not a single complaint about any of it.
My friend and I had a great time. The bike was not hard to pedal. We saw things in Milwaukee that I never knew existed. The lion bridges were beautiful. We laughed so hard at times my cheeks hurt. The other family that joined us were very "interesting" also. It was well worth the money.
We had a group of family and friends that spent the afternoon on the 7 seat bike food tour of the 3rd Ward. Our guide for the afternoon was fun and informative. The choice of restaurants was wonderful. We enjoyed a great afternoon of great weather, good friends and wonderful food. I would highly recommend this activity to others who would like to have some fun and explore some new restaurants.
